KARACHI: The Pakistan team on Friday left for Malaysia to participate in the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025, scheduled to be held from January 18 to February 2.
According to details, the national team departed Jinnah International Airport on Friday evening and will arrive in Malaysia on Saturday afternoon.
The contingent led by Komal Khan will stop in Dubai on the way to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Pakistan, ranked in Group B, will begin their U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 campaign against the USA on January 18 before facing England on January 20.
The Green Shirts will play their final group stage match against Ireland on January 22nd.
After the group stage, the top three teams in each group will qualify for the Super Six stage.
The Super Six will see teams carry forward their points, wins and Net Run Rate (NRR) from their group matches.
The top two teams from each Super Six group will advance to the semi-finals on January 31st.
The final will be played on February 2 at Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur.
Pakistan captain Komal shared that the team is well prepared and eager to perform well in the upcoming tournament.
“We have prepared well for the World Cup and all the players are eager to perform well.
“We hope the team performs at its best during the tournament and that we can reap the rewards of all the hard work put in at camp.”
