LAHORE: The names of Pakistan’s platinum players for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have been finalized.
After a meeting between the PSL management and the franchises regarding player categories, the names of Pakistan’s platinum players were confirmed.
According to sources, Lahore Qalandars will keep Shaheen Shah Afridi, Fakhar Zaman and Haris Rauf in the platinum category.
Peshawar Zalmi will include Babar Azam and Saim Ayub in the platinum category.
Quetta Gladiators will only have one player, Muhammad Amir, in the platinum category.
Islamabad United will feature Shadab Khan, Naseem Shah and Asif Ali in the platinum category.
Karachi Kings will not have platinum category players.
Multan Sultans will include Muhammad Rizwan and Usama Mir in the platinum category.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer expressed his excitement at the opening of the overseas player registration window and shared his team’s commitment to providing fans with unparalleled experiences.

Since the inception of the premier league, Islamabad United has won three titles, followed by Lahore Qalandars with two.
Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans have won one title each.
